Potters' Pumpkin Patch Trail
The Potters’ Pumpkin Patch Trail is a self-guided tour of five pottery galleries each offering unique Fall themed ceramic items throughout October with special event activities on each Saturday of the month. The Saturday events are hosted by a group of potters in Seagrove, NC, which include Blue Hen Pottery, Crystal King Pottery, Seagrove Stoneware, Thomas Pottery and The Triangle Studio. Experience Autumn in Seagrove by exploring all five individual shops that are featuring Fall inspired decorative and functional pottery, festive woodland animal sculptures and their signature ceramic pumpkins and gourds. Spend the day in the country on the Potters’ Pumpkin Patch Trail, along the scenic Pottery Highway, and stop in at one of the locations to get a Trail map. As an event sponsor, The General Wine and Brew will offer handmade collectible pottery mugs and a seasonal selection of pumpkin brews. Located in downtown Seagrove, The General Wine and Brew is a retail wine shop and bar and will be open during each event Saturday from 1-9pm. They have a small plates menu, a great selection of craft beer and fine wine. Stop in to relax and unwind during the Potters’ Pumpkin Patch event. Enjoy outside deck seating and picnic area. You might think a pumpkin is just a pumpkin, but you will find that these talented artists all have their own unique style and their own handmade seasonal ceramic interpretations. Find the latest fall designs, pottery pumpkins, gourds, fall home décor and seasonal tableware for all your dining and baking needs. Each participating shop offers a different Saturday event experience from clay demonstrations and refreshments to raffle drawings and giveaways.
