Hot Ride Holiday Cruise-In Holiday Toy Drive Calling all car enthusiasts!!! Central Piedmont Community Action, Inc. (CPCANC) is hosting its HOT RIDE HOLIDAY Cruise-In Holiday Toy Drive on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. with all toys and proceeds going to our area children this Christmas. The cruise-in will take place at the Randolph County Courthouse parking lot, 176 E. Salisbury Street in downtown Asheboro. We’re calling all vintage cars, hot rods, muscle cars, specialty cars and motorcycles to come out and make this event a one-of-a-kind event for our community and ultimately, our area children who are in need this holiday season. There will be dinners for sale at the cost of $5, which includes phenomenal chili, cornbread and a drink. There will be raffle tickets for sale for $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. There will be multiple drawings through the afternoon, including a 50/50 cash prize split! For all of these drawings you must be present to win. There will also be a number of area resource vendors set up in the parking lot sharing information and offering items for sale to the event-goers. CPCANC is asking for new and unwrapped toy donations suitable for children between the ages of 2 and 14 years old to be dropped off at this event. You will receive a free raffle ticket for every toy donated. Ways to participate include having a car on display, being an event-goer, buying a dinner, buying raffle tickets, being a show sponsor, or by donating a toy in person, or through money donations via the CPCANC website using PayPal.
